We are excited to announce that you can now accept credit card payments directly through the Breezeworks app. It’s never been easier to get paid while you’re on the go.

Getting started takes just a few seconds. Just go into settings and then tap Payments > Payment setup. After you accept the terms and conditions, you can start taking card payments immediately. No card reader (or “swiper”) is required; Breezeworks uses your phone’s camera to scan card information.

A few things to know:

  • Our payment partner WePay collects just 2.8% + 30¢ for a credit card transaction and 1% + 30¢ if your customer uses a debit card.
  • After you accept your first payment, you will receive an email from WePay inviting you to verify your account on their website. During verification you’ll be asked to provide information about yourself and your business; this information is used to prevent fraud.
  • You can accept up to $5,000 in credit card payments before you verify your account. Payments collected before verification will be accrued on your behalf but will not be available until you complete the process.
  • Once you’ve verified your account, collected funds (net of fees) will be deposited into your bank account in 2-5 business days.

We hope card payments will make Breezeworks an even better tool for your business. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Email [email protected] or call us at (844) 273-3939.
